Our Collection

We travel across Europe and the USA sourcing frames directly from old distribution firms, manufacturers and antique optometrists, always focusing on unique, one-off, statement-making styles.

All our glasses are original vintage frames from the early 1950s to 1990s, are completely unworn and in many instances one of a kind.

We fit all our frames unless stated with brand new CR39 UV400 lenses - a high-quality UK standard lens. With full UV-A and UV-B (99%), these lenses are both lightweight and effective against the sun, making them perfect for everyday wear.

Unparalleled Style

The majority of our frames have been manufactured by hand in France, Italy, Germany, Austria or America. This guarantees superior styling and component parts in comparison with modern frames.

All our frames are hand-checked and adjusted by our optical dispensary team to ensure quality and functionality.

Eyewear curator and storyteller, focused on helping style-conscious customers discover one-of-a-kind vintage glasses and sunglasses. Ed combines fashion expertise with product knowledge to ensure every frame not only fits but tells a story.

As vintage is often defined as something over 20 years old, it feels fitting that the friendship behind Ed & Sarna began in 1998. Two decades later, much has changed — except our shared obsession with timeless design (and, admittedly, Ed’s hairline).

What began as a small London market stall on a bright summer morning has evolved into one of the world’s leading destinations for authentic vintage sunglasses and eyeglasses.
