Taking their name from the late great Gerard Cottet. Cottet was one of Essilor's in house brands. Developed in the 1970s, vintage Cottet frames were produced with design and fit at their core. In a period when many other eyewear companies were spending on licensing deals, Essilor invested in research and design with Cottet - producing incredibly durable and fashionable frames. No longer in production, these frames are a rare find.
