Zeiss is an old stalwart within the German optical industry. Founded in 1846 by Carl Zeiss, they are more famous for optical lenses than eyewear design. Zeiss lenses have been used in everything from telescopes to cameras that take pictures on the moon - so they know a thing or two about vision.
