What is Virtual Try On?
Virtual Try On utilises your device’s camera (such as the front-facing camera on your mobile or your computer’s webcam) in order to capture an image or video of your face, so that the pair of frames you’re contemplating on buying can then be digitally positioned onto your face using our Virtual Mirror software.
When your camera is open, our software is able to automatically determine your pupillary distance (the distance between your pupils) so that we can accurately position the frames onto your face, giving you the best idea of how they would look in-person. Our Virtual Mirror also works in real time, so once our frames have been digitally imposed onto your face, you can move your head around and see how they look from all angles!

Usually a benefit limited to in-person shopping, by utilising our virtual try on service, you can try on a pair of glasses or sunglasses frames from the comfort of your home (or anywhere with an internet connection!) to see how they might look before committing to a purchase.
This saves you the hassle of having to arrange a return and wait for your refund to make its way back into your bank account should you otherwise buy them first, only to determine that they’re not the right frames for you upon receiving them in person.

Trying our frames on before you buy them can also have a positive impact on the environment. This is because, should you decide not to purchase a certain pair of frames, you are mitigating the transport emissions that would otherwise be produced from returning them back to us.

Whilst making a return may not be something you consider to be a hassle, avoiding it can have economical benefits for you. Whilst you will get refunded for your purchase when returning an item, delivery fees are typically not included within this refund.
Should you use our virtual try on service and decide a pair of frames isn’t right for you, rather than finding this out in person only to return them, you can avoid losing out on delivery fees. Of course, if one pair isn’t to your taste, then we’re confident that another pair will be!
